Am I Eligible?

 

NRAS rental properties are available for low and moderate income households - people who may find it hard to pay market rental rates. To be eligible to rent an NRAS property, potential tenants will need to provide Questus Realty with the following:

  • written evidence of their gross income;
  • a complete Department of Social Services NRAS Tenancy Demographic Assessment (TDA); and
  • an application to enter into a residential tenancy agreement.

 

Please be aware that the gross income for your household for the previous 12 months must not exceed the income limits below: 

 

The 2016-17 household income eligibility limits are:

  2016/17 Year   Household Income ($)
  1st Adult   48,527
  First Sole Parent   51,041
  Each Additional Adult   18,564
  Each Child   16,096
  Independent Minor   48,527

Please note that existing tenants must not exceed the income limit by more than 25 per cent over two consecutive years to remain eligible.
